I thought that I had just about seen all the cheesy 80's love movies and turns out at age 38 I just saw this movie for the first time! And I fell in love with it, with Debbie & Danny! ❤❤ I will definitely watch this one again and again.

I have seen this movie at least 20 times & just noticed how much Demi Lovato looks like a young Demi Moore.

James Belushi was the biggest asshole best friend ever in a movie but I laugh everytime at his blunt, disgusting questions & how dead serious he asks (does she give head? Did you say I love you after you came?) In real life I wouldn't want to know the guy.

I still believe the original with rob Lowe and demi Moore was the best.. the 2014 can't even touch the original. .

Well Luna Faye, i'm glad you got back with your first love. I think Rob Lowe shouldn't have tried to get back with Demi Moore at the end because he told her when they broke up that he didn't wanna get married. I don't think he wanted kids either and Demi probably wanted kids. He should've found a woman that didn't wanna get married and didn't wanna have kids. I do think that Rob and Demi made a nice couple.

I didn't like how Rob Lowe was acting a few times towards Demi because in one scene when him and Demi went to the bar for new year's eve, he was kissing another woman and Demi saw him with the woman. Then in another scene, he was talking to James at work and he was asking James what a female co-worker had said about him because James was telling him that a female co-worker was interested in him. If i would've been Rob, i wouldn't have done those things because Demi was his woman. Why should he care what a female co-worker thinks about him? He also shouldn't have been kissing a woman at a bar. Then when Demi moved outta his apartment, he tried getting in touch with her to apologize because he missed her. He should've thought about that before she moved out. He also told her he loved her when they were arguing in the rain and she told him that she gave him love when they were living together and he acted like he didn't care about her. I don't know why some men act like assholes when they got good women. I'll never understand that.

I saw the original yesterday for the first time with Rob Lowe, Demi Moore, James Belushi and it was very good. It was nice seeing Demi naked a few times and she has a nice body. She was very cute back in the day. Her friend Elizabeth Perkins was a asshole and i can see why she couldn't keep a man LOL. I know Rob Lowe got a lot of women back in the day. White women were in love with him.

Move over, Ed Zwick and John Huston! Will Gluck is resurrecting two 1980's theatrical hits from the Columbia and/or TriStar library: Annie (Columbia, 1982 and 2014 versions) and About Last Night (TriStar, 1986; Screen Gems version, 2014).

The way my sister described Ian Somerhalder was that he looked like Rob Lowe, just not as good looking. I agree.
